About me
I’m a final year PhD student in the Federated Biology Department at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and Rutgers University - Newark.
My research is concerned with how consistent neural circuit output across a population of individuals can be generated despite seemingly large differences of the properties of the individuals.
I leverage dynamical systems, statistics, and machine learning methods to better understand how this works.
In close collaboration with experimental colleagues, we’ve identified several generalizable mechanisms that underlie this phenomena. Published work can be found on Google Scholar.
These days I also think about research commercialization, business development, and the automation of science.
